Great sales this week!! So happy about the sales on berries this week. We will definitely be making lots of smoothies with fresh berries! And the asparagus makes me want to grill some and serve with lemon juice and salt to taste!

Dolar General Market

When I find a great sale on foods like onions, bell peppers, anything freezable, I stock up, prep, and freeze. Trust me, it saves a lot of time and money in the end!

Food Depot

Great sale on tomatillos!! Absolutely love fresh tomatillo salsa! The workings of a great salsa with the sales on tomatillos, onions and tomatoes. Use equal parts tomatillos, tomatoes, and onions. Add a few cloves of garlic, to taste. A handful of cilantro, some cumin, coriander, and salt and pepper to taste. Squeeze some lemon and lime juice on there. Give it a good mix and you're good to go! Easy, quick, and delicious.

Great sale on organics at Kroger this week. How about making a vegan shepherd's pie with these mushrooms? Or try our recipe for warm mushroom and spinach salad.

I love homemade creamed corn. It takes a long time to grate the corn, but it is so worth it in the end! Then I can make some delicious cornbread!

Summer's almost here, and you can tell by the sales in produce. Tomatoes are getting less and less expensive, as is corn, berries, and lots of other produce favorites. Veganism can be very budget friendly if you shop smart and stick to whole foods!

Great sale on bell peppers and cucumbers this week! My oldest absolutely LOVES fresh cucumber salad! Roughly chop some cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes, and onions and add some garlic, freshly squeezed lemon/lime juice and fresh herbs, and salt and pepper to taste. It's that simple and delicious!
