Aldi comes through with great produce sales! I think I'll make some of my blueberry granola bars!

You already know how much time frozen foods can save us. Aldi's has a pretty deal in frozen foods this week.

Dollar General Market

Looking at what's on sale above gives me the idea to make a cold cucumber soup and serve it with some fried cabbage.

Dollar General Market's got the best sale on Avocados and Mangoes this week. Asparagus too. I love roasted asparagus served with a creamy avocado dill sauce!

Food Depot

Food Depot's not disappointing this week either.

The sales for this week speak for themselves.

Fresh Market

Another great sale on frozen foods for the week.

Kroger

Great sale on Blood Oranges, Minneolas and Cara Cara Naval Oranges!

Summer Squash!

The sale on organic canned beans makes them less than $1 per can.

Definitely loading up on these vitamin C filled peppers! I'm going to make a roasted sweet pepper dipping sauce.

Save A Lot

My children actually love roasted brussels sprouts. Just drizzle olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper to taste, and some thinly sliced garlic. Bake in a 400º oven until they brown, mixing and basting them halfway through. sprinkle fresh herbs on top once they've finished baking and let sit for 5 - 10 minutes before serving.

At a $1.99 for 5 lbs of potatoes, the possibilities are endless!

Shopper's Value

The sales at Shopper's Value last a few days longer, until the 26th. I'm glad the red delicious apples and anjou pears are still on sale. I'm making some apple/pear crisps this week!

Great sale on Baby Bella whole mushrooms this week. Pair them with some of my easy baked potatoes , and that apple pear crisp for dessert and you've got one great lunch!
