This week's best sales on berries are at Alidi's! And a large watermelon for only $2.99 is a great deal, even if it is seedless! The sale on Baby Bella Mushrooms is great!! I'm thinking about making a mushroom pie...check out our blog this Sunday for the recipe!
Washington cherries seem to be at a similar sale price at most stores.
Not pictured, but the best sale on potatoes can be found at Dollar General Market this week. Only $2.50 for a 10lb bag!! Have you tried making our insanely delicious irish style baked potatoes?
Great sale on peaches, and bell peppers this week at Food Depot. Tomatillos are at a good price too. Try making a fresh tomatillo salsa with the sweet vidalia onions on sale this week.
As always, Fresh Market comes through this week with their bulk sales. If you eat nuts like we do at my house, you'll definitely appreciate this sale on pistachios!
Good sale on organic and non-organic tomatoes this week. One of my favorite breakfasts as a kid was tomato sandwiches. Just toast a couple of slices of your favorite bread, dip each side in some extra virgin Spanish olive oil with crushed garlic, layer the tomatoes on one side, then top with the other side. Delicious!!
So glad peaches are in season!!!
Great sale on strawberries too this week at Kroger. Have you tried making a strawberry slush? All you need are strawberries, ice, lime juice, and an many dates as you like to add for added sweetness. My kids love these after playing outside in the heat!
Kroger also has the best sale on grapes this week.
Good sale on Apples and Potatoes this week. Have you tried making our Irish style baked potatoes?
Again, no disappointment this week with Publix's BOGO sales. I will be taking advantage of the BOGO on pistachios and watermelon chunks!
Great sale on stone fruit and iceberg lettuce too!
Best sale on papaya and limes in Macon this week. Have you had papaya with lime? OMG!! One of the best combinations! Try making a juice with papaya and lime. You'll love it!
