Good sale on avocados this week. Try making our raw zucchini noodles with avocado cilantro sauce. And the mangoes!! The sale is good enough to freeze some of them for smoothies, nice cream and slushies. How about some mango nice cream? Just put some frozen chopped mangoes and dates into your high speed blender and blend until it reaches the desired consistency. Sooooo goooood!!
Pretty good sale on grape tomatoes. Big favorite at my house! But then again, not much isn't. Lol! How about making a roasted tomato sauce with some grape tomatoes? Just poke each tomato with a fork and layer them on a cookie pan. Drizzle olive oil on them and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Put them under the broiler for around 8 minutes. Give them a shake or a stir. Add some grated garlic. Put back under the broiler for another 5 minutes. Pull them out and stir in half a handful of your favorite fresh herbs. SO good!!
Great sale on green bell peppers and cucumbers. Try making a cucumber salad with those green bell peppers. Just julienne the cucumbers and bell peppers along with some green onions. Add some grated garlic and your favorite herbs. Give it a squeeze of lime and a squeeze of lemon. It'll be refreshing and delicious!
Fresh Market comes through on their bulk nut sale once again. You can use their vegan gourmet blend to make Macon Vegans Granola Bars!
This would be one of those times I load up on veggies that are on a super sale and freeze like half!! Sweet Vidalia Onions are so good!
Good sale on organics this week. Apple cinnamon oatmeal for breakfast sounds pretty good. How about trying Macon Vegans recipe for warm mushroom and spinach salad or vegan crab cakes.
The sale is what it is. Not the best prices this week, but still reasonable.
I don't have to tell you that this is a good price for limes. Make some limeade this week!
As usual, Publix comes through with their BOGO sales for the week. Camapri Tomatoes and Hydroponic Butter Lettuce!! I just want a plain salad. Just lettuce and tomatoes. So very refreshing!

Shopper's Value Foods has the best sale on cabbage this week. You could try roasting it and follow our roasted red cabbage recipe, substituting the green for the red cabbage. They've also got the best price on avocados this week.
